MOTE2026 is the official companion app for the MOTE2026 Lifestyle Medicine Congress (Budapest, Hungary). This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
The app does not offer or require any user account, sign-in, or registration. It can be used entirely anonymously.
The following data is stored locally on your device only and never leaves it:
In the app you may enter the details needed for arrival registration: your full name, e-mail address, category (doctor, dentist, clinical psychologist, healthcare professional, or no healthcare qualification), your registration number, your professional group if you are a healthcare professional, whether you are sitting this year’s IBLM exam, and the registration code you received in the congress information e-mail.
The app stores these only on your device. It does not transmit them to us or to anyone else, and uses no network connection for them. You can remove them at any time with the “Adatok törlése” (Delete my data) button in the app, or by uninstalling the app.
Your details reach us only when you show the QR code at the registration desk at the venue and our colleague scans it. From that point the controller of this data is the Hungarian Society of Health Preservation and Lifestyle Medicine (MOTE).
Purpose: documenting attendance at the congress and keeping the attendance record required for crediting OFTEX continuing education points. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation of the organizer and performance of the participation contract. MOTE keeps this data for 12 months, after which it is deleted. The data is stored in the European Union.
You may request information about, correction of, or deletion of this data at kongresszus@eletmodorvostan.hu.
The app downloads conference content (program schedule, speaker profiles, room information) from the congress content server. These requests contain no personal data. As with any internet service, the server may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address) for operational purposes.
The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind. MOTE2026 does not collect, sell, share, or transfer any personal data to third parties.
The app contains links that open in external applications (e.g. map navigation, the organizer’s website and social media pages, sponsor websites). Once you leave the app, the privacy policies of those services apply.
All app data is local. Uninstalling the app permanently removes everything it stored. See also Account & Data Deletion.
