MOTE2026 – Account & Data Deletion

No accounts exist

The MOTE2026 app has no user accounts, sign-in, or registration of any kind, so there is no account to delete.

Deleting local data

Everything the app stores (favorited events, cached conference content, and your arrival check-in details if you entered them) lives only on your device. To delete it:

• use the “Adatok törlése” (Delete my data) button on the arrival registration screen to remove your check-in details, or
• uninstall the app — this permanently removes all data it stored, or
• on Android, use Settings → Apps → MOTE2026 → Storage → Clear data to wipe the data while keeping the app installed.

If you checked in at the congress

The app itself never sends your data anywhere. However, if you showed your QR code at the registration desk and it was scanned, your attendance was recorded in the congress attendance register kept by the Hungarian Society of Health Preservation and Lifestyle Medicine (MOTE). Deleting the data in the app does not remove that record.

MOTE keeps the attendance register for 12 months, as it is needed for crediting OFTEX continuing education points, and deletes it afterwards. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of that record, contact MOTE at kongresszus@eletmodorvostan.hu.
