Mipa – Terms of Service

By using the Mipa app you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

Purpose of the app

Mipa is a personal productivity tool. It records what you say, converts it to text using a speech-to-text service, uses an AI assistant to interpret the request and manage your tasks, ideas, lists, reminders and calendar entries, and can read replies back to you. It is a personal organiser only: it is not a medical, therapeutic, financial or legal service, and nothing it says should be treated as professional advice.

AI accuracy

Speech recognition and the assistant’s responses are produced by automated AI services and may contain errors, omissions, or misunderstandings, including in dates, times, names, quantities and amounts. The assistant may create, change or delete entries in the app based on what it believes you asked for. You must check the results before relying on them, and you remain solely responsible for anything you act on. Do not rely on the app alone for anything time-critical or safety-relevant.

Your responsibility

• You are responsible for the content you dictate and for what you allow the assistant to do with it.
• If you dictate personal data about other people, you must comply with applicable law (including the GDPR) and obtain any required consents. Avoid dictating more identifying information than necessary.
• If you configure your own API keys, you are responsible for safeguarding them and for any usage or costs incurred under them.
• If you grant calendar permission, the assistant can create and modify events in your device’s calendars. Review those changes.

Third-party services

Mipa relies on third-party services to work: Groq for speech-to-text, OpenRouter and/or Google AI for the assistant, ElevenLabs for speech synthesis, and the email app you choose when composing a message. Your use of these services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, or data handling.

Test builds

Builds distributed through Google Play testing tracks are pre-release software provided for evaluation. They may be incomplete, may change without notice, and may lose stored data between versions.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do our best to keep the app working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including inaccurate transcriptions or AI responses, missed or mis-scheduled reminders, unintended changes to your entries or calendar, or the handling of data by third-party services.
