Szedd Magad is the companion app for a pick-your-own fruit orchard in Győrszentiván, Hungary. It shows opening hours, what fruit is ripe, prices and directions, and lets you note a visit day, a pre-order and a loyalty card. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
The app does not offer or require any user account, sign-in, or registration. It can be used entirely anonymously.
The following data is stored locally on your device only and never leaves it:
Your visit day and pre-orders are not transmitted to the orchard in this version of the app. They are reminders for you.
The app downloads orchard content (opening hours, fruit varieties, prices, places) from the orchard’s content server, and a weather forecast for the orchard’s gate coordinates from Open-Meteo. These requests contain no personal data and no device identifier. As with any internet service, the servers may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address) for operational purposes.
The app contains a staff-only section, reachable behind a password, that the orchard owner uses to record where each fruit variety is growing. In that section — and only when the owner taps the “I am standing here” button — the app asks for permission to read the device’s current location.
The coordinates are written into the orchard’s own content data on that device. Location is never read in the visitor-facing part of the app, is not used for tracking, and is not shared with third parties.
The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind. Szedd Magad does not collect, sell, share, or transfer any personal data to third parties.
You can mark fruits you would like to be notified about. In this version that preference is stored on your device only and no notifications are sent. If push notifications are added later, this policy will be updated before that feature ships.
The app opens some things in other applications: a phone number in your dialler, and directions in your map application. Once you leave the app, the privacy policies of those services apply.
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
All app data is local. Uninstalling the app permanently removes everything it stored. See also Account & Data Deletion.
If a future version of the app processes data differently — for example if visit days start being sent to the orchard, or push notifications are introduced — this page will be updated before that version is released.
